Covid-safe arrangements
and lockdown-easing policies
Latest full review and looking to the future - 7 April 2021
Covid-safe precautions include
social distancing, hand hygiene, one‑way circulation, face coverings (on the same basis as retail locations),
and special arrangements around holy communion
People are welcome to attend whether or not
they choose to receive holy communion
The Prayer for a Spiritual Communion
will be said for those who choose
not to receive communion
Regulations require that a register of attenders
is taken at each service – if anyone at the service later tests positive for the virus,
others who were present might be contacted
by NHS test‑and‑trace and asked
to self‑isolate
If the vicar is asked to self‑isolate, further services in church (rather than online) might be
impractical for the following two weeks
The arrangements will continue to be reviewed regularly as the situation develops
